The FISITA 2012 Student Congress will run in parallel with the Main Congress, providing an invaluable opportunity for students to present technical papers to a high-level international audienec. This gives students the opportunity to network and interact in a technical forum with an international peer group.
Oral presentations and posters will be presented at the Students Congress, and each technical presentation will last 20 minutes and be followed by a five-minute Q&A. Students are also welcome to attend the technical visits scheduled on 30th November 2012. Students whose papers are rejected or who are not prepared to present a paper are also welcome to participate as an attendee, in order to stimulate exchanges of ideas in a large forum.
The best three papers presented at the congress from students and young engineers will be awarded at the Closing Ceremony of the Main Congress as follows:
- First Prize: €1000 & Certificate
- Second Prize: €700 & Certificate
- Third Prize: €500 & Certificate

DEADLINE EXTENSION - Deadline for paper submissions extended to 10 AUGUST 2012.
Eligibility is restricted to full-time engineering students (either at bachelors, masters or postgraduate level). Proof of student status is required when registering. Please read the following documents for more information:
